A well-known authority on climate change and global warming, based in the UK, emailed me today, after I sent him some images from my blog about polar cities. [I won't reveal his name for now, as it was a private email.]
"Many thanks, Danny, for your thoughtful images [of polar cities]. It may well happen and soon."

Hint: His name is James Lovelock. Wait a minute, that's more than a hint. That's the whole ballgame. But yes, it was Dr. Lovelock. The man who inspired me to envision the concept -- as mere speculation of the future -- of "polar cities" to house survivors of global warming in the future, "breeding pairs in the Arctic" in the now-famous words of Dr Lovelock.
