It's Oscars Telecast Day in Hollywood, and Leonardo DiCaprio was at it again.

The 41-year-old actor took a moment to speak about a cause that's very close to his heart: environmentalism and climate change.
Svoboda is an assistant professor of writing and director of the Sustainability Minor at the George Washington University (GWU). He is also a regular contributor to Yale Climate Connections, where he first began to write about climate change in popular culture. “Cli-Fi on the Screens,” his survey of climate change in over 60 fictional films, can be downloaded for free from the January 2016 issue of WIREs Climate Change.

The next step, said Leiserowitz and Svoboda, is creating films that offer solutions to the issues they portray.
"We've gone from 'There's a problem,'" said Svoboda, "to 'We need to do something about this problem.'"
