Ane Farsethas -- You are very inventive yourself, inventing new objects, animals, brands, foods, in your books.

ATWOOD: “Because I have a warped mind! But it is not an unusual warped mind. So I just assume if I’m thinking about it, others probably are too. And I find that very often to be the case. When I started the Oryx and Crake trilogy the response was a bit: ‘What’s that all about?’ But now there are lots of what are called ‘cli-fi books.’ But in 2003 that was not the case.
