Gerard Butler’s cli-fi movie ''Geostorm,'' directed by Dean Devlin, Pushed Back 9 Months in Hollywood slot shuffle

                                                        


In a setback to Gerard Butler’s fans, Warner Bros. has delayed the Geostorm by 9 months to October 20, 2017.

It is a science-fiction-action-thriller directed and produced by Dean Devlin. The move came after the giant studio pushed forward Ben Affleck’s crime drama ''Live by Night'' by same duration to January 13, 2017 — taking the slots of Geostorm.


re Geostorm, the flick will be the feature directorial debut of Dean Devlin, co-producer of 1996’s Independence Day.

Gerard starrer flick is being produced by Devlin’s Electric Entertainment with Skydance Productions.

The film centers on a satellite designer, trying to prevent disaster when the world’s climate control satellite fail to function.
